Introduction and Overview
This proposal is an expression of interest of Mr. Stephen Rusimbi, Director of Accountability Tanzania (AcT) and Managing Director of GOSTEF Consulting, to build member capacity on resource mobilization that CSOs and FBOs in East Africa are expecting to hold in order to acquaint their participant(s) with technical knowhow on resource mobilization. The main objective is to express our interest and offer the best professional expertise for the assignment, articulating our accumulated experience and the reliable and quality deliverable that we prepared to deliver on the assignment.
Competence to Consultancy
Mr. Stephen Rusimbi has diverse and extensive years experience engaged in considerable consultancies of different nature, serving different categories of clients, ranging from individual, Corporations, Civil Societies, religious or faith Based Organizations, Private Sectors and Public institutions to name a few. Mr. Rusimbi is mainly focus on three Major areas which include; Resource mobilization, local and international fundraising techniques, Project Management and Evaluation, leadership and Management, Organizational/Institutional Development and Business Development. The consultant desire is to see the organizations in Tanzania rise to their potentials and improve on their effectiveness and efficiency to achieve their missions.

The consultant has managed to carry out considerable consultancy assignments with numerous clients on various projects and assignments of different nature, ranging from project proposal write up, project planning, project monitoring and evaluation, project financing and fund rising, management of development project, impact evaluations Human Rights, civic engagements, researches to projects evaluation and monitoring. Individual members are expected to be trained about how to fundraising at the international and local level. The following will be facilitated in four days.

Donor Relationship Management
Members will be equipped with easiest way of tracking people who donate, understanding of giving pattern and tailor your communication to their needs. In eight steps Mr. Stephen Rusimbi will support participant to design a donor management system for their organizations. Here he/she will find a step-by-step overview, tools, examples and other resources for donor management.
Ongoing Coaching and Mentoring
The Mr. Stephen Rusimbi will keep on coaching and mentoring to the individual members because the tool kit and guidelines which will be provided requires practical sessions to lead them so that they can fully acquaint the knowledge and skills. Therefore the consultant will be receiving emails and calls regarding the materials provided to keep them in track and attain the nity grit of what are required to be done within seven days after the sessions.
Time Frame and Work Schedule
This consultancy assignment is expected to take a total of 5 days to be conducted. The Mr. Stephen Rusimbi intend to use 1 day for preparation and translation of training manuals/materials as well as 4 days for training a participant on resource mobilization sessions. The other day will be used for report writing and submission to client. Mr. Stephen Rusimbi will make sure all the deliverable are met and eventually a final report is prepared and submitted within the prescribed days. The entire execution of the assignment will be divided down into specific activities as described here under;-
After the sessions are over, Mr. Stephen Rusimbi will add seven days to participants for mentoring and coaching through emails and cell phones to respond to questions and clarifications regarding the tool kits and guidelines provided.
